Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Andhra Pradesh. While there, he will officially open the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes, and Narcotics’ new campus in Palasamudram. Additionally, he will undertake a road show in Kochi, Kerala.
The Prime Minister will also meet with officer trainees from Bhutan’s Royal Civil Service and the 74th and 75th batches of the Indian Revenue Service (Custom and Indirect Taxes).
The Prime Minister would offer prayers and darshan at Veerabhadra Temple in Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh, at about 1:30 PM.
The Prime Minister will arrive in Palasamudram, Sri Sathya Sai District, at approximately 3:30 PM.
At 7:15 p.m. today, PM Modi will also conduct a road show in Kochi, Kerala.
On January 17, early in the morning, Prime Minister Modi will offer prayers and darshan at the Guruvayur Temple in Kerala.
At roughly 10:30 AM, he will also offer prayers and darshan at the Thriprayar Shree Ramaswamy Temple. The Prime Minister will then officially open significant infrastructure projects pertaining to the ports, shipping, and waterways industries at noon, according to PMO.
In barely two weeks, the PM will make his second trip to Kerala.
He had earlier on January 3 held a roadshow in Thrissur.
The Prime Minister flew a helicopter to Kuttanalloor in Thrissur, where his convoy was greeted by a joyful mob after landing at Nedumbassery via a special aircraft from Agatti in Lakshadweep.
Speaking at ‘Stree Shakti Modikkoppam’ at Thekkinkadu, Kerala, the prime minister added that his government has passed a law prohibiting triple talaq in order to give Muslim women more power.
In the meantime, the Sri Sathya Sai district strengthened its security measures in anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Andhra Pradesh today.
A number of district locations, including the National Academy of Customs and Narcotics Center, which PM Modi will open today, were examined by district officials.

Modi made a promise to return to Ayodhya only when the construction of the temple dedicated to Lord Ram was finished on January 14, 1992.
Modi participated in the ‘yatra’ that led to Kashmir’s unification with India, which was completed in 2019 with the revocation of Article 370.
