The business has been given the go-ahead to build a 220kV Gas Insulated Substation and related Transmission Lines in the United Arab Emirates by a reputable service provider to the energy sector.
According to a filing with the stock exchange, Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission & Distribution Business has acquired fresh orders in the Middle East for between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore.
An established service provider to the energy sector has sent the company a request to build a 220kV Gas Insulated Substation and related Transmission Lines in the United Arab Emirates.
A public services infrastructure business in Dubai has also given orders to build two new 132kV substations, and a 220kV overhead transmission line has also been ordered for the area.
4 new 132kV substations will be built in Kuwait under a turnkey contract for the Al Sabah medical district.
Additionally, relevant Civil & Mechanical works as well as associated Control, Protection, Automation, and Communication systems are included in the scope.
In the current projects in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, more orders have been received.
At 11:00 IST on Wednesday morning, Larsen and Toubro was up 1.11 percent, trading at Rs 2,708.00.
