Amidst the buzz that E-commerce giant Amazon is planning to launch Prime Gaming in India, It finally but quietly has now debuted the subscription-based service in India. Prime Gaming is bundled with Amazon Prime and will also allow users to access a range of mobile, PC, and Mac games. Besides, Subscribers will also get access to in-game loot e.g. weapons, characters, skins, boosts; etc.
According to information available on the website, Prime Gaming currently offers games like Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, FIFA 23, League of Legends, DeathLoop, etc. Prime gaming service can be availed by Prime members, which costs around INR 1,499 for a yearly package.
According to the sources, the launch of Prime Gaming service in India comes around a week after it was initially reported that the E-commerce giant was planning to launch in India. Back then, it was reported that the webpage of the Prime Gaming service was live in India but as users signed in to check, the platform went offline. Now finally, Prime Gaming has now made its way into the country. The launch of the service comes 2 years after the E-commerce giant launched its mobile gaming service in the country, which largely had free in-game content such as collectable characters, and upgrades, etc.
