On Saturday, a police station in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district was attacked with rocket-propelled grenade(RPG).
The incident took place at around 1 am. Although there were no casualties reported, there were 10 people including the station head official(SHO), Prakash Singh present at the station.
The glass door of the station was broken along with the main entrance. This was the 2nd RPG attack reported in the recent seven months on a police station in Punjab. Previously there was an RPG attack on Police’s Intelligence Wing Headquarters in Mohali.
BJP’s national spokesperson, Jaiveer Shergill, tweeted blaming the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) for the worrying and disturbing law and order situations in the state.
