Shahnaz Husain, a distinguished figure in the realm of beauty and wellness, was born on 5th November 1944 in Samarkhand. Her upbringing took place in a traditional Muslim household, where she developed a deep-rooted appreciation for cultural values.
She hails from a distinguished lineage as the daughter of the esteemed Justice Nasir Ullah Beg, the former Chief Justice of the Ahmedabad High Court, and Sayeeda Begum. Her grandfather, Justice Samiullah Beg, contributed significantly to the political landscape.

Educated at St. Mary’s in Allahabad, She embarked on her journey into marriage at an early age, entering into matrimony with Nasir Husain, with whom she shares the joy of raising two children. During Nasir Husain’s posting in Tehran, she seized the opportunity to further her education, immersing herself in the study of Ayurveda in Iran.
Upon her return to India, She undertook comprehensive training in cosmetic therapy and cosmetology, channeling her expertise into the establishment of “Women’s World” in New Delhi. This endeavor garnered recognition and respect, attracting frequent visits from none other than the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi.
Today, She legacy continues through her daughter, Nelofar, who is actively carrying forward the family’s commitment to excellence. In addition to her entrepreneurial achievements, She is the esteemed author of the biography “Flame,” which encapsulates her remarkable journey and contributions to the realms of beauty and wellness.
Shanaz Husain entered matrimony at the age of 15, demonstrating a commitment to her education even after assuming the responsibilities of married life. By the age of 16, she had also embraced motherhood.
Tragically, in 1999, her beloved husband succumbed to cardiac arrest, leaving a profound impact on her life. Subsequently, in 2008, her son Sameer Husain experienced a deeply distressing fate, as he took his own life.
