Shark Tank India jokes flooded the internet after Ashneer Grover resigned from BharatPe.
With his appearance on Shark Tank India, Ashneer Grover became famous for his one-liners such as “Yeh sab doglapan hai,” and “Bhai kya kar raha hai tu?” When the news of his departure from BharatPe broke, Twitter was flooded with opinions and memes about the show.
Ashneer Grover, co-founder and Managing Director of BharatPe, resigned from his position on Tuesday after receiving an agenda for a scheduled board meeting that suggested action against him based on a report submitted by consultancy company PwC. Ashneer stated in his resignation letter that he is being forced to leave a company in which he is a founder. Not only that, but he also claimed that he and his family have been the targets of unfounded and targeted attacks by a few individuals who are willing to ruin not only his but also the company’s reputation.
“Yeh sab doglapan hai,” and “Bhai kya kar raha hai tu?” were two of the 39-year-catchphrases old’s during his participation on Shark Tank India. As soon as the news of his departure became public, Twitter exploded with emotions and jokes about the show.
Meanwhile, Ashneer’s departure from the platform occurred just a week after Bharatpe fired Grover’s wife, Madhuri Jain Grover, who was the company’s head of controls, for suspected financial irregularities and cancelled ESOPs she had vested in. She is accused of using business cash for personal cosmetic treatments, electronic purchases, and family visits to the United States and Dubai.
