Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged the all-new Vande Bharat Express in Bangaluru.
Vande Bharat appearance has created a solid boost to Indian Railways. Many Indians still avail the facility of railways for commuting long distances. Vande Bharat is India’s first high-speed inter-city vehicle, it was initially designed and manufactured as per the Make in India perspective over a span of 18 months.
Vande Bharat was first flagged from the New Delhi railway station, with an operational speed of 160 km/hr. Vande Bharat has a total seating capacity of 1,128 with 16 air-conditioned coaches. Vande Bharat is designed as per the needs of passengers with fully equipped wifi, a GPS-based audio-visual information system, and great comfort for the journey.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, flagged the new route for South India which connects Mysuru and Chennai via Bengaluru.
As per the reports, he also flagged off the ‘Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan’ train, which is operated by Karnataka’s Muzrai Department, under the ‘Bharat Gaurav’ train policy of Railways.
According to a Southwest Railway official, the train opening “will fulfill the dream of many travelers who want to build Casillatra.” Vande Bharat Express Additionally offers an eight-day tour package at discounted rates for pilgrims.
