Sprih is an AI-powered cleantech platform that assists enterprises in optimizing their approach to achieving sustainability goals. Sprih provides technological tools to assist firms in developing a data-driven, action-oriented sustainability strategy.
The business intends to use the new funding for sales and marketing efforts, as well as to hire people for the development of climate-focused AI models and to expand its partner ecosystem to assist customers in implementing climate solutions.
Sprih, a carbon emission management platform, raised $3 million in a funding round headed by Leo Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm.
The funds will be used to boost global sales, hire personnel to build artificial intelligence (AI) models concentrating on climate challenges, and grow the network of partners.
“We aim to compile all climate data in one place. Akash Keshav, cofounder and CEO, told the Economic Times, that the company will continue to invest in research and product development.
The company was founded in 2022 by Akash Keshav, Ravi Singhal, Rohit Toshniwal, and Hemant Joshi, and provides organizations with an end-to-end software platform to make the process of monitoring, reporting, and comparing emissions across their supply chain and activities against industry standards easier.
The company intends to grow its customer base in India and expand into the United States, Europe, and other worldwide regions that have climate regulations in place. It is now doing pilot programs in the United States. “These countries have committed to reducing their carbon footprint, and the carbon footprint will only decrease when corporations truly start taking it seriously.”
According to the Economic Times, “This year, our focus is to expand globally, and we are definitely targeting around 40–50 customers globally,” he stated. At the moment, Sprih has over twelve clients, including Hero MotoCorp, Indigo Paints, Arvind SmartSpaces, Espi Industries, and InfoBeans.”As a company, we aspire to surpass $6-7 million in revenue within the next few years,” he continued.
Ravi Srivastava, partner at Leo Capital, commented on the investment, saying, “With increasing top-down commitments to net zero, sustainability is steadily becoming a critical part of businesses’ growth agendas.” However, without a preceding framework, most businesses fail to identify a realistic path to achieving their sustainability objectives.”
