Our Journey
Mr. Sufiyan Uddin, along with his two brothers, leads OREÓ Jewels, a distinguished name in the gemstone and jewelry industry. The company’s origins trace back to his grandfather, Mr. Haji Nazimuddin, a skilled gemstone manufacturer who showcased his craftsmanship across India. Under the leadership of Mr. Imran Uddin, Sufiyan’s father, the company expanded nationally and internationally, exporting products worldwide. In 2016-2017, Mr. Sufiyan Uddin took the helm, forging strategic alliances with international mines to secure high-quality gemstones.
This expansion included opening branches in Dubai, Bangkok, and Moscow in 2019. By 2021, they ventured into the jewelry industry with a seasoned team, leading to the rebranding of “OREÓ Gemstone” to “OREÓ Jewels” in 2022, reflecting their commitment to offering exquisite jewelry pieces. Additionally, Mr. Sufiyan Uddin manages OREÓ Exports under the leadership of Mr. Adnan Uddin, specializing in the export of High quality Commodities such as Milk, Rice & Pulses with an uncompromising quality.
Achievements
Under the leadership of Mr. Sufiyan Uddin, OREÓ Jewels has achieved significant milestones in the gemstone industry. The company manufactured a flawless pair of no-oil emerald-cut natural emeralds totaling 16.11 carats, earning the prestigious Platinum Rarity Gemstone Award from GRS GemResearch Swisslab AG in Hong Kong (Award No. 4826). Additionally, OREÓ Jewels received a Gemmological Profile Book from the Gübelin Gem Lab in Hong Kong (Report No. 23051176), highlighting the rarity of these emeralds.
Furthermore, an 8.51-carat no-oil vivid green emerald from OREÓ Jewels was honored with the Important Platinum Rarity Gemstone Award by GRS in Bangkok (Award No. 5207). This exceptional gemstone is anticipated to be acquired by a major luxury brand, potentially within the LVMH Group, though specific details remain undisclosed by Mr. Uddin.
Vision Ahead
In the presence of Mr. Uddin, OREÓ Jewels is expanding its manufacturing to include high-quality rubies and sapphires, aiming to achieve notable industry awards and recognition. The company is actively seeking collaborations with prominent luxury brands to create exclusive, award-winning jewelry collections. Additionally, OREÓ Jewels plans to enhance its export operations, contributing to the growth of India’s gem and jewelry sector. To support this expansion, the company intends to establish a new head office in Geneva or New York, reinforcing its commitment to global growth and excellence.
