The state promotes its thriving business climate through two programs.
Tamil Nadu is going all out to promote its next global investors convention on January 7 and 8. While industry veterans promote the benefits of the state’s industrial climate through the “Titans of Tamil Nadu” campaign, the state uses the “One Trillion Dreams” campaign to tell the human tales behind the state’s successful industrial growth.
Venu Srinivasan of TVS Motor Company, K M Mammen of MRF Ltd, Pratap Reddy of Apollo Hospitals, P R Venketrama Raja of Ramco Group, Mallika Srinivasan of TAFE, and Vellayan Subbiah of Murugappa Group are among the industry heavyweights showcasing Tamil Nadu to the world through this mega marketing initiative. Tamil Nadu is not the only state that is relying on local business to get investors to attend its investor conference.
“We have Leyland (Ashok Leyland), Daimler, BMW, Hyundai, TVS, TAFE, Ola, and Ather here not by chance.” Something about this surroundings certainly draws people in. That is the policy continuity. With the addition of private engineering institutions, I believe our educational quality has skyrocketed. “In terms of engineering graduates, we are far ahead of any other state,” Srinivasan declared as part of the ‘Titans of Tamil Nadu’ campaign. According to a source, these ads are in keeping with Minister of Industries TRB Rajaa’s objective of marketing an otherwise “shy industrial sector.”
“Our objective is to attract attention to the vibrant environment and deep talent pool that we have painstakingly nurtured over years, emphasizing that these solid foundations
“It is past time for the state to recognize our own Titans from the industry.” The state has a long history of industrial buildings, which should be recognized. This post GIM will also be continued. Startups receive their own spotlight, but these businesses should be honored as well. “Trillion dollar dreams will honor workers from all sectors,” said V Vishnu, managing director and chief executive officer of Guidance Tamil Nadu.
The One Trillion Dreams (OTD) campaign also aligns with the state’s goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy by expanding its talent pool through innovative programs such as ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ (career-oriented and skill-based training for students) and ‘Puthumai Penn’ (financial assistance for female students).
This OTD campaign will consist of a series of social media postings, each expressing an emotional tale about an individual or a group of employees who make important contributions to the state’s industrial sector. The campaign was created in response to the widespread distribution of a post by the industries minister during a visit to a plant a few months ago.
