Tarun N. P. Varma will be primarily responsible for developing a compelling and compelling value proposition for employees of the global Tata consumer organization.
Tarun N. P. Varma is based in Mumbai and reports to Sunil D’Souza, Managing Director and CEO, Tata Consumer Products.
“In his new role, Varma will primarily be responsible for developing a competitive and compelling employee value proposition (EVP) for TCP’s global organization besides embedding an integrated people agenda to accelerate delivery across all the pillars of TCP’s business strategy,” the company said in a statement announcing Varma’s appointment.
Varma has been with Shell Plc’s Tata Consumer Products for over 20 years. He was Vice President of Human Resources for the Global Technology division. Previously, he was Head of Human Resources at Shell Group of Companies in India. Prior to Shell, he held several senior HR positions at major multinational corporations such as Vodafone, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, and Nestle.
