“As brilliant as he is, why does Elon Musk fail to understand that if you parade subordinates naked in town hall, it makes it easy for them to pee on you in public?” tweeted Anupam Mittal, creator of Shaadi.com and Shark Tank India judge.
New Delhi: Elon Musk is the much-touted CEO following Twitter’s takeover. He understands how to capture the attention of Netizens. However, he has come under fire in the days following the agreement for the surprise layoffs, mass Twitter resignations, and the blue tick scandal. Anupam Mittal, the creator of Shaadi.com, has made a significant statement on Elon Musk, the new CEO of Twitter.
“As brilliant as he is, why does Elon Musk fail to understand that if you parade subordinates naked in town hall, it makes it easy for them to pee on you in public?” founder and Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal tweeted. Respect, he continued, is a two-way street. Musk dismissed half of Twitter’s staff after taking over the company.
Mittal’s post comes at a time when Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO and the world’s richest man, is under fire for a number of issues involving the company and the microblogging website.
Since purchasing the tech juggernaut in the latter week of October, the business tycoon has sacked senior executives, laid off employees, given them a “ultimatum” that resulted in their resignations referred to as an exodus, and demanded a $8 monthly charge to be paid for blue tick verification.
Most recently, he enabled former US President Donald Trump to come to the stage after being forbidden from doing so due to turmoil at the US Capitol in January 2021. The 51-year-old South African businessman paid $44 billion for Twitter. According to Forbes, he owns approximately 82 percent of the company.
