Titan Company, a lifestyle company, intends to recruit approximately 3,000 individuals over the next five years. While the firm will continue to increase its portfolio of products across Tanishq, Mia, Fastrack, Sonata, Eyeplus, Taneira, Skinn, and Caratlane brands in Indian and international markets, a substantial emphasis will be placed on boosting the luxury category.
Focused recruiting across profiles has been planned to offer deep topic experience and enable Titan to explore additional paths. According to the firm, they will mostly be at the mid to senior level.
Titan seeks expertise in a variety of sectors, including digital, e-commerce, sales, optometry, design, and engineering. In keeping with its emphasis on innovation and technology, the firm intends to expand the ratio of workers in engineering jobs by 50% over the next 2-3 years.
Data analytics, cyber security, product management, digital marketing, and other cutting-edge capabilities will be aggressively sought by the organization. Titan is expanding its presence in the premium and luxury markets by developing deep knowledge via its construct, borrow, and purchase approach.
“We are embarking on an exciting journey towards becoming a Rs 1,00,000-crore business in the next five years. Our aggressive hiring strategy reflects our dedication to hiring a diverse and talented workforce. We believe that alongside growing our people, it also helps to bring in experts from various fields, young and experienced,” said Priya Mathilakath Pillai, head of the human resources for corporate and retail businesses of Titan Company.
“This will accelerate our growth and innovation, strengthening Titan’s position in the industry. Currently, 60 percent of our workforce is in metros and 40 percent in Tier 2 and 3 cities. We will continue to strengthen our play in the emerging markets and focus on local talent to promote regional employment,” she said.
Titan intends to increase its worldwide presence in North America and the Middle East by 10% over the next five years, with a particular emphasis on the GCC region, where 150-200 roles will be created in the next two to three years.
The corporation will continue to employ on campus, and it is estimated to account for 15-18% of overall hiring each year. Titan has just established Sequal, a women-focused return-ship initiative that will upskill women and give re-entry assistance. Women made up over 40% of new jobs in the first quarter of fiscal year 2024.
