Anjani Kumar, the director general of police, met via video conference with the commissioner of Warangal and other top police officials to examine the security measures, according to a statement issued on Thursday. The DGP advised the relevant departments to coordinate their efforts in order to prevent trouble during the Prime Minister’s visit.
On Saturday, according to official sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the cornerstone for a number of significant infrastructure development projects in Warangal that are expected to cost around Rs 6,100 crore.
They said that before the festivities, Modi would pay a visit to the district’s well-known Bhadrakali temple and give a speech to the public.
In the state that is close to elections, Modi will be making his third trip this year. Previously, in January and April, he travelled to Telangana.
Party sources claimed that senior leaders, including the newly appointed state BJP president, G. Kishan Reddy, a Union Minister, went to Warangal today to monitor the preparations for the Prime Minister’s events.
The Prime Minister will also lay the cornerstone for the Kazipet railway waggon manufacturing facility, which would cost more than Rs 500 crore to construct, as part of the agenda.
The ability to produce waggons will be increased at the modern production facility. An official announcement had earlier stated that it would contribute to the creation of local jobs and the growth of ancillary businesses in the neighborhood.
In the meantime, Telangana police have made extensive security preparations in anticipation of Modi’s travel to Warangal to participate in a public meeting.

Senior police personnel have been assigned to areas where the Prime Minister is likely to visit on Saturday, including Mamunur, Bhadrakali Temple, and Arts College, according to Warangal Police Commissioner A. V. Ranganath. Armed protection has also been set up in such locations.
Over 3,500 police officers are being deployed to oversee security measures, according to Ranganath, who spoke to PTI.
Warangal was designated a no-fly zone from July 6 to July 8, and a traffic alert has already been issued, according to the announcement.
