UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022: The UPSC Engineering Services Exam (ESE) 2022 test schedule has been published on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). According to the UPSC timetable, the ESE prelims will be held in two shifts on February 20, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
UPSC ESE prelims selection procedure:
The following procedure will be followed during the examination:
- Stage I: Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage I) Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for Stage II: Engineering Services (Main/Stage-II) Examination; Stage II: Engineering Services (Main/Stage-II) Examination; Stage III: Engineering Services (Final/Stage III) Examination; Stage IV: Engineering Services (Final/Stage IV) Examination; Stage V: Engineering Services (Final
- Stage II: Engineering Services (Main/Stage-II) Examination (Conventional Type Papers) and
- Stage III: Personality assessment
UPSC Engineering Prelims Pattern 2021-22:
The Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Exam will have two objective type (multiple choice) questions with a maximum score of 500 points (Paper 1 – 200 Marks & Paper II – 300 Marks).
Cellphones are not permitted:
It is strictly prohibited to use any mobile phone (even in standby mode), pager, or any other electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media such as pen drives, smartwatches, camera or blue tooth devices, or any other equipment or related accessories in working or standby mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination. Any violation of these instructions will result in disciplinary action, which may include disqualification from future exams.
