Delhi Airport Flights Are Restricted for 8 Days Ahead of the Republic Day Celebrations

In honor of Republic Day, Delhi Airport will cease all flight operations from January 19 to January 26, 2024, between 10:20 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. IST.

Delhi International Airport Limited has informed us that arrivals and departures are affected by the temporary suspension for the designated period.

Passengers should contact the relevant airline operators for the most up-to-date flight information.

Airspace restrictions will be applied in the national capital for 11 days this month as part of Republic Day preparations.

Non-scheduled and chartered flights are forbidden from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on January 19 through 25, as well as on January 26 and 29.

This year’s honored guest, French President Emmanuel Macron, will be the country’s sixth head of state to take part in Republic Day festivities.
