More than 6,600 Instagram users have reported problems.

After thousands of users reported problems accessing the image-sharing network, Meta Platforms announced on Thursday that it was trying to restore Instagram.

On Downdetector.com, which collects status data on outages from sources including user-submitted mistakes, more than 6,600 people reported troubles with Instagram at its peak. It’s possible that the outage will affect a bigger number of people.

According to the website, 84 percent of reports indicated that users were having problems using the Instagram mobile app.

In a statement, Meta said, “We’re aware that some people are having problems using Instagram.”

We’re working hard to restore normalcy as soon as possible, and we apologise for any trouble this has caused.

“In the meantime, Instagram unveiled ‘1 Minute Music’ tracks on Thursday, which include a collection of music and movies that can be used to create Reels and Stories on the platform. This latest ‘1 Minute Music’ track collection, according to the Meta-owned app, includes music by over 200 Indian performers, including Dhvani Bhanushali, Neeti Mohan, Shaan, Himanshi Khurana, Aniruth, and GV Prakaash Kumar. According to the company, the music collection will make Instagram content more enjoyable and will motivate other musicians to post 1-minute music videos on the platform.

According to Instagram, ‘1 Minute Music’ includes music videos in addition to the tracks, all of which will be available on the platform. Meanwhile, in the previous ten days, certain musical songs by Indian musicians such as Himanshi Khurana, Kaur B, and Gurnazar Chattha have gone live on the internet photo-video sharing site.
